Christine Morris replaces the current CFO of Maersk Drilling, Jesper Ridder Olsen.

Industry veteran Christine Morris replaces Jesper Ridder Olsen, the present CFO at Maersk Drilling, as confirmed in an official press release from the company.
She brings to the table more than 25 years of relevant financial experience, a significant number of which were at US oilfield services giant Halliburton.
While her appointment has been confirmed by the company’s Board of Directors, she will officially resume duty on 05 January 2021.
Expressing his pleasure on Ms. Morris’s appointment, Claus V. Hemmingsen, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Maersk Drilling, said:
– Christine brings strong qualifications and a wealth of experience from publicly listed companies in global industries, including extensive experience from the oil and gas industry.
Ms. Morris herself expressed her joy on taking up this new role, stating:
– I am very excited to join Maersk Drilling as the potential for value creation is significant, given its strong balance sheet, customer relations and operational excellence.
An MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, Christine Morris holds dual Belgian and American citizenship.
