Report indicates that five crew were taken from Cameroon-flagged MV Cap Saint George

Dryad Global reports that the 46m cargo vessel was boarded by an unknown number of persons and five crew were kidnapped in yet another incident in the troubled Gulf of Guinea.
The vessel lost three Cameroonian crew, one Ghanaian and one Sierra Leonian in the boarding. The vessel then proceeded to port and docked on 13th December.
A total of 130 people have been kidnapped in the Gulf and the surge in attacks in general has resulted in a HRA risk rating of CRITICAL being applied to the area.
